Electricity with Guarantee of Origin

Municipalities Adhering to the Electricity Framework Contract

Guarantees of Origin (GdOs) are an instrument that certifies that a certain amount of electricity has been produced from renewable energy sources or high-efficiency cogeneration within the country.

Since 2018, the Provincial Council has relied on the collaboration of the Provincial Energy Agency for the preparation of the documents related to the Electricity Supply Framework Agreements (AMS 8/2018, AMS 8/2019, AMS6O-006/2022 and AMS6O-007/2024), including the technical specifications and technical reports for the participating entities. Municipalities and entities specifically adhering to this agreement are supplied with 100% electricity backed by a Guarantee of Origin.
